Eric, Dad, and David charted a 36′ Trawler Cat out of Anacortes, Washington. From there we headed north to Canada and the Gulf Island. Our journey covered over 300 miles and visited such scenic locations as: Princess Louisa Inlet, Pender Harbour, Jedediah and Lasqueti islands, Nanaimo, “Mural city” Chemainus, Cowichan Bay, and Roche Harbor.
After the the boating leg of the journey we spent Saturday at the Seattle Boats-a-Float boat show on Lake Union in Seattle. All in all we had a very good time and surprisingly good weather for mid-September.
Next year we’ll probably head even farther north into the Desolation Sound region.
Here are the photos from the trip.

Nice pics. but, where’s the fish? You have boat and no fishing rods?
Great pictures. None of cooking or food. Did you eat well? And no pictures of your sleeping areas. Next time.
Love, mom
