We visited the Trinita dei Monti and the Spanish Steps.
It was a fusion of architecture styles – the church was built by the French (with Egyptian obelisk) on top of steps built by the Spaniards.

At the bottom of Spanish Steps was Piazza di Spagna with a drinkable water fountain and an expensive shopping district. Naturally we window shopped but didn’t buy anything.

As part of our “Enjoy Rome” walk tour, we had a breathtaking view of the Roman Forum from Capitoline Hill at Sunset. You could see the Temple of Saturn, View of Coloseum and Paletine Hill as well.

It was a fast paced tour. We barely had time to take photos and film our trip video and were constantly lagging the tour group. It was worth it though – we got a good overview of Rome’s history and the cool spots to come back to by ourselves later.

The Pantheon – Artist’s Rendering

Over 2000 years old and still standing today. It was a temple dedicated to all Greek gods and was turned into a Christian church around the 15th century.

The Pantheon – Our Take

A quick glimpse of the front of the Pantheon on our Enjoy Rome walk tour of the Ancient City remains.
